2024 dawns bright with possibilities and my hope is to strengthen and grow our
association, provide benefits both to you personally and to your business, get
back to in person mixers and networking events and to continue the important
work in our legislature with a special focus on the Contractor Registry that
our legislative committee has worked so hard on for so many years.
My
involvement with the association began when Bob Schwartz and I were so
excited to join the Remodelers Council we arrived a week early to the
meeting! That first RC meeting was the beginning of a whole new world for
me both personally and professionally. My knowledge expanded with each
interaction I’ve had with members. I’ve developed friendships with
countless members who I feel comfortable turning to with questions and concerns
I have. You might say I have a whole built in cadre of professionals to
turn to. Over the years they have patiently answered my questions, have
jumped in to “save” me when I needed carpenters to complete a job on time, have
suggested trade partners to work with and have volunteered their time with me
at Rebuilding Together Greater Burlington projects that assist low-income
homeowners with free home repairs.
The
VBRA feels like home and family to me and I am very grateful for it. I
encourage you to join me, get involved in a council or committee and see your
own results!
