Hello Friends,

The months are flying by and I hope they have been productive and profitable!  Now, if we could only see some sunshine….

VBRA volunteers have been busy putting together our first Better Homes Award program in 5 years.  Big thanks to Carl Grumbine from Vermont Construction for creating a website we’ll be able to use for BHA’s  years into the future.  And mega thanks to Snyder Homes and Haven Architecture (a brand new member!) for being our first 2 sponsors!  Now, PLEASE start submitting your projects so that we have a vibrant group of projects to vote on.  And mark your calendars for October 18^th, 2025 – you’ll want to be there to see who our top builders and remodelers are this year!

May 29^th holds an opportunity to see and be seen at our next Beer with Builders event at Zero Gravity on Pine St. in Burlington.  Come mix and mingle and have a good time with your peers.  Beer with Builders is one of our most popular events and I know from experience, business and sales follow those meetings.  Don’t miss out!

We had great success with our Hire the Next Generation meeting at Hannaford Tech Center in Middlebury.  2 of the students were hired that day and ALL of the students walked away with new tools and full bellies courtesy of Goodro Lumber and Lew Castle, Gaines Insurance.

Our next Remodelers Council meeting will be held in June at Inspired Closets.  Watch for email invitations and come learn about new innovations in closet design while learning about your peers’ businesses.  RC members are really committed to success and doing business with members so it will be worth your time.

The Legislative Committee is winding down the season while also pledging to working on committees over the summer.  We owe our gratitude for this valiant group of people acting as our voice in Montpelier!  Thank you to all who are involved!
